《台北女子圖鑑》這部電視劇的主角是一個從台南到台北發展的女生，她小的時候第一次到了台北，就被台北的繁華所吸引，因此大學畢業後，便下定決心到台北找工作。她雖然在職場上並不是一帆風順，也遇到了很多挫折，在感情上也遇到了渣男，談了很多場速食愛情，但她很努力地往自己夢想中的生活前進。在這部電視劇中，可以看到一個從小在台灣南部長大的人，他們對台北的嚮往，對台北的憧憬，以及到了台北以後遇到的困難。

芳芳看這部電視劇時很有感觸，她從小也一直想到台北接觸更多更新的事情，但跟這部電視劇的女主角不一樣，芳芳到了台北後，沒有不融入的感覺，只覺得要得到更多機會，嘗試更多新鮮事。
芳芳覺得南部人跟台北人最大的差異是穿著打扮，她覺得台北人出門時，比較注重自己的樣貌，也比較注重小細節，化的妝比較精緻，對自己的穿衣服或生活環境的風格比較堅持。

很多南部人覺得台北是天龍國，也叫台北人天龍人，覺得台北人只知道台北的生活怎麼樣，也比較有優越感。此外，南部人也覺得台北是個道路狹小、人又多的地方，所以有壅擠感，但也因為資源多，所以生活水平比較高。
天龍國 tiānlóng guó – a term used to describe a place or group of people that are seen as privileged, powerful or superior. Here refers to the perception that Taipei is the center of wealth and power in Taiwan, and that its residents are snobbish or elitist
優越感 yōuyuè gǎn – a feeling of superiority or entitlement
狹小 xiáxiǎo – narrow and small
壅擠感 yōng jǐ gǎn – a feeling of congestion or overcrowding
生活水平 shēnghuó shuǐpíng – standard of living
