[00:15] 為什麼台灣人愛泰國?

泰國全年都可以旅行,平均温度20到30度之間,跟台灣南部天氣一樣。但台灣南部的風景卻讓我們覺得跟泰國的 “哪裡可以比!?” 泰國的海美呆了, 藍色的大海,一望無際。除此之外,莛莛覺得她最喜歡的其實是泰國人的微笑,泰國人個性善良親切,讓她覺得泰國真的是個很安全的佛教國家。

哪裡可以比 nǎlǐ kěyǐ bǐ – (lit.where can it be compared to), here refers to Taiwan’s scenery cannot compete with Thailand’s, Thailand is far more stunning

一望無際 yī wàng wú jì – (an idiom, lit.stretching as far as the eye can see) often referring to a beautiful and expansive natural scene like the ocean or sky
微笑 wéixiào – smile
善良 shànliáng – kind
親切 qīnqiè – friendly

 

[01:50] 在泰國,台灣人喜歡去哪裡玩?

在泰國,莛莛最愛的是 “象島“。象島離曼谷有一點遠,從曼谷到象島搭巴士再搭船,至少要7個小時左右,因此她到象島都會待上至少兩周以上的時間。莛莛喜歡幽靜的地方,而象島上的自然環境天然質樸,因此她很喜歡。她在象島時喜歡住在靠海邊的旅館,一個海邊玩了後,就到下個海灘去住,她覺得在象島可以曬太陽、游泳,還可以跳水潛水浮潛划獨木舟,非常好玩。象島附近也有很多其他的小島,因此可以跳島玩,到不一樣的島上玩水上活動,還可以去山洞探險,超級棒的!

曼谷 Màngǔ – Bangkok
待上 dài shàng – (for a period of time) to stay. It’s used to indicate spending a certain amount of time in a specific place, often for the purpose of relaxation, sightseeing, or other activities.
幽靜 yōujìng – (of atmosphere or environment) peaceful, quiet and calm
天然 tiānrán – natural or unaffected
質樸 zhípǔ – simple or rustic
膩 nì – grown tired of; be bored with; be tired of (doing something)
跳水 tiàoshuǐ – (lit. jump to the water) diving
潛水 qiánshuǐ – scuba diving
浮潛 fúqián – snorkeling
划獨木舟 huá dú mùzhōu – canoeing
(划huá: to paddle, to row; 獨木舟dú mùzhōu: canoe)
跳島 tiào dǎo – to island-hop
山洞 shāndòng – caves
探險 tànxiǎn – to explore

[03:41] 泰國美食!

泰國很熱,因此去泰國時一定要吃路邊攤阿嬤賣的辣味涼拌青木瓜,吃起來酸酸甜甜,有一點辣,吃了會有很舒服的感覺! 而雖然台灣人愛吃泰國的打拋豬肉、打拋雞肉,辣辣鹹鹹很下飯,但莛莛在泰國更喜歡吃他們道地的菜,比如泰國的酸辣湯”冬蔭功“。冬蔭功裡面加辣椒辛香料,喝起來辣辣酸酸的。有一次莛莛在泰國自助,她和朋友坐過夜火車清邁時,在火車上點了冬蔭功這道菜來試試,沒想到超級辣,當時每個人喝一口就辣到嚥不下去,但為了不浪費食物,莛莛還是一邊辣到哭一邊把它吃完,所以現在的莛莛就變得非常能吃辣!

涼拌青木瓜liángbàn qīng mùguā – green papaya salad

打拋豬肉 dǎ pāo zhūròu – Pad Kra Pow Moo (stir-fried minced pork)
下飯 xiàfàn – (a dish) goes well with rice
冬蔭功 Dōng yīn gōng – Tom Yum Goong, a type of Thai hot and sour soup
辣椒 làjiāo – chili pepper
薑 jiāng – ginger
蔥 cōng – green onion
辛香料 xīn xiāngliào – spices
自助 zìzhù – self-guided travel
過夜火車 guòyè huǒchē – overnight train
清邁 Qīng mài – Chiang Ma
嚥不下去 yàn bú xiàqù – can’t swallow; hard to swallow
