Nelson之前在非洲做工程建設方面的工作，來到祕魯後，為了接觸比較多女生，轉行做網路設備行業，在零售店賣家用設備，如攝像頭、wifi路由器等等。他有個性別上的偏見，認為女生對這些產品沒那麼感興趣，但因顧客大部分都是男性，所以他們目前店面銷售部門女生比較多，現在招的人也是女生比較多。

[02:30] Nelson的職位是什麼?
Nelson現在的title是國家經理，但因公司在南美洲業務發展得不太理想，所以他認為自己是來收拾爛攤子的。除了祕魯，他的業務範圍還包括阿根廷、智利和玻利維亞，但他認為整個南美洲的面積加一塊兒跟中國差不多，但是人口沒有中國多，只有4億多人，所以加起來業務也不大。

Nelson在南美洲擔任管理職，他表示跟東非相比，南美洲的人算比較守時，效率也比較高。他認為日本和韓國人對工作非常瘋狂，這是有目共睹的，而這邊的人通常會晚幾分鐘上班，也會提前下班回家。但他認為拉美的人這樣是有些歷史原因，以前通貨膨脹厲害，貨幣不值錢，因此不能說拉美的人眼光不長遠，沒有儲蓄習慣，是因儲蓄了貨幣會貶值，只能花錢買東西去保值，因此會多去消費、娛樂。

Nelson曾經跟父親做餐飲生意的富家千金相親過，他們當時找了個茶樓一起吃了茶點。這個女生家的飯館是專門接待那城市的高官，因此賣一些野味，違法、灰色地帶的東西，比如蛇、倉鼠及二級保護動物穿山甲等。我們認為東亞的父母都希望子女30歲時能成家立業，台灣的父母不會逼迫，會以比較溫暖的方式來提醒子女需要有個伴，而中國家庭大部分比較暴躁，希望子女能趕快成家。

中國大陸市中心的公園裡有相親角，一些阿姨、叔叔，或者爺爺、奶奶會把自己子女的簡歷打印出來，跟擺攤一樣讓大家來看。他們會把兒子、女兒的信息放在公園裡，上面印著哪一年出生、什麼學歷、什麼戶口、有多少套房子、什麼車子等全部寫下來，如有二婚的、離異的、有帶孩子的也會印出來，讓大家來相互配對。

[11:50] 中國人覺得台灣特別的方面
Nelson 到了台灣後，才發現台灣有「妨害風俗罪(妨害風化罪)」，不可在外面隨便裸露自己的身體，這會被認為是公眾猥褻。Nelson認為台灣在這方面管得特別嚴，道德標準比較高。他注意到有個罪名叫「通姦罪」，以前在台灣已婚的男生或女生如果有婚外情得坐牢，但這個罪在台灣已經廢除了。
而在中國大陸，如果一個人結婚後，又跟另外一個人一起生活，並把財產給他支配，涉及到了財產的話，只要被抓到證據，就是重婚。中國軍人的重婚罪比較重，得坐牢很多年。
