全球資料庫公布了「2021年全球生活品質排名」，台灣房價收入比已惡化到倒數第7名。在房屋交易網上，台北房價讓人望之卻步，然而勞動部規定每人每月基本工資才24,000元，因此買房成為年輕人遙不可及的夢想，也出現了越來越多「躺平族」。雖然目前有「少子化」的現象，且內政部建了不動產交易實價查詢服務網，然而因房地產炒作太嚴重，多數人資金都投資在房地產上，大家拚老命囤房，不願意釋出，使得房價持續飆升、高居不下。此外，因通膨關係，民生物資一直上漲，讓許多人民跟店家真的都被壓得喘不過氣了。

雖然台灣房價高，許多理財專家仍認為，現在是低利時代，買房每月所需負擔的房貸壓力比以前輕多了。雙北房價高，買房收租投資報酬率較低，因此適合的投資方式是買賣房屋賺價差。廷廷也認為買房投資時，地點好才容易脫手，且應注意房子的室內格局、通風與採光等。台灣疫情正嚴重時，廷廷看上一間房子，出價後房子很快就到手了。那間屋子的格局還有樓層都讓婷婷很滿意，因此她整理了一下後就交給包租代管，結果不到一周就租出去了。她認為自己真的很狗屎運!
