[00:15] 台灣的 “鬼月” 是什麼時候!? 鬼月會發生什麼事?
台灣人認為人住在陽間，鬼住在陰間，農曆七月一號從陰間到陽間的門開了，這時鬼會從陰間到陽間來。為了歡迎鬼到陽間，我們準備大魚大肉迎接他們，讓他們在陽間吃吃喝喝直到七月三十號鬼門關。而鬼月時，最重要的活動就是普度，在我們的想法中，有些人死了以後不願意離開人間，沒辦法轉世。因此鬼月時我們準備很多肉、菜，讓他們吃一吃，滿意後他們就會離開人間了。

[02:46] 鬼月的時候，台灣人做什麼?
鬼月時我們準備大魚大肉，歡迎鬼來到陽間，也幫忙還沒離開的孤魂野鬼超度，而在東北部的宜蘭和南部的屏東，我們也會舉辦「搶孤」。「搶孤」是一個需要爬長又高的竿子，到很高的地方搶祭品的活動，非常特別。而在農曆的七月十四，我們也會進行「放水燈」的活動，有些人在海邊因意外而溺死，因此我們放水燈通知他們參加普渡活動。此外，水燈漂越遠，就代表越能得到幸運和庇護，因此很多人很努力製作水燈。

[05:27] 鬼月的時候，不可以做什麼事?
農曆七月有一些禁忌，第一個就是不要在鬼月時游泳，水裡的鬼會想要把你拖到水裡面，而你一死亡，他們就能得到投胎轉世的機會。此外，鬼月時也不能在半夜剪指甲，因夜深人靜，剪指甲的聲音會讓鬼發現你在這裡，也因剪指甲或剪頭髮都會把自己的氣剪掉，所以不能剪頭髮。再來，鬼月時因鬼會到處逛來逛去，如果半夜晾衣服，也會吸引鬼過來，要特別小心。
