[00:15] 台灣空氣污染嚴重嗎?
我們覺得歐洲和美國的空氣比台灣好，一下飛機就會有終於能呼吸的感覺，覺得空氣很清新、很舒服。而在台灣，我們覺得山上的空氣不錯，但北高雄因為是重工業區，也有很多食品加工或飼料工廠，因此每次到了那邊就覺得氣味不是很好，天空都灰濛濛的，空氣超級糟糕。
呼吸 hūxī – to breathe

食品加工 shípǐn jiāgōng – food processing
飼料 sìliào – (pets/animal) feed
氣味 qìwèi – odor, smell, scent

[02:08] 台灣空氣污染原因
台灣南部和鄉下的空氣汙染成因是因工廠多，這不但讓空氣不是很好，也讓這邊的人致癌風險提高。而台灣北部空氣汙染主要原因是汽車、機車的廢氣排放，再加上台灣冬天吹東北季風，把中國大陸的空氣汙染也吹了過來，讓台灣的空氣變得更慘。而在台中，因火力發電廠需要燃燒煤炭，因此空汙也很嚴重。

致癌風險 zhì ái fēng xiǎn – cancer risk
廢氣 fèiqì – exhaust gas
排放 páifàng – emission, discharge
吹東北季風 chuī dōngběi jìfēng – blow the northeast monsoon

燃燒 ránshāo – burn, combustion
煤炭 méi tàn – coal
雖然我們想要減少使用核能來發電，但用火力來發電，又會造成嚴重的空汙問題，讓我們覺得這真的很兩難。此外，因為台灣小，燒垃圾的焚化爐也都在台灣人住的附近，導致我們空氣汙染問題真的很嚴重。

[04:48] 台灣政府做了什麼?
台灣政府不但鼓勵一些工廠轉型，也規定要做車輛排氣定檢，檢查車子或是機車排放出來的廢氣是不是有達到標準，如果排放出來的廢氣太多了，那麼這個車子或是機車就不能上路。此外，台灣政府也一直鼓勵我們坐大眾運輸工具，希望我們多搭公車、捷運，不要騎機車或開車。雖然台灣空氣越來越好，但還是有進步的空間。
