[00:15] 台灣學生怎麼選擇大學科系?
當我們要決定要念哪一間大學時，台灣的高中生主要有兩個管道可以考慮：學測和指考。在高中三年級的2月，學測會考5個科目，包括國文、英文、數學、社會、自然。其中，社會科目包括地理、歷史和公民與社會三個部分；自然科目包括生物、物理、化學和地球科學四個部分。如果在學測後未能成功進入想要的大學，則還有7月的指考可以參加。指考成績出來後，學生需要上網填志願，一共可以選100個。

我們的父母經常表示，如果不能成為醫生或律師，就應該選擇商學類科系。雖然莛莛的分數可以進入獸醫系，但當時身旁的女同學想上商學系，於是她也跟著選擇了商學系。獸醫系需要四年學習以及一年的實習才能畢業，對她來說是個很大的負擔，而她整個大學時期想的也都是賺錢、存錢，並且去進修。大學時莛莛選擇當時非常夯的商學科系，本以為可以進入大企業工作，但因到補習班教英文打工讓她吃到甜頭而卡在補教界。沒有離開這個舒適圈，這讓她感到非常慘

我們在選擇科系和專業時，通常會受到父母和社會風氣的影響。在台灣，很多人會選擇醫學、法律或電機系等科系，這可能是因為這些科系被認為比較容易找到好工作。有些人的家庭是醫學世家，如果沒有考上醫學系，就會再重讀一年再考一次。另外，隨著台灣半導體產業的發展，許多人的目標變成當工程師，也因此會去念相關的科系。
